Brussels, September 30th, 2026 - itsme, Belgium's leading digital identity platform, \u200b and Odoo, the global provider of open-source business management software, today announced a \u200b partnership to integrate Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) capabilities directly into the Odoo \u200b Sign application.
The integration will allow Odoo's millions of business users to generate signatures that meet the \u200b highest assurance level defined under the EU's eIDAS regulation - legally equivalent to a \u200b handwritten signature - without leaving the Odoo platform. By reusing the digital identity that \u200b itsme users have already verified through their smartphone app, signers will be able to complete a \u200b fully compliant qualified signature in under a minute, combining strong identity verification (via \u200b NFC, facial recognition, or personal code) with a certificate issued by a Qualified Trust Service \u200b Provider (QTSP).
The integration was driven by growing demand from Odoo customers, including several large \u200b companies, for a higher-assurance electronic signature option directly within their existing \u200b business workflows. These companies increasingly require qualified signatures for documents \u200b where strong identity assurance and the highest level of legal validity are particularly important.
